Mark started his career in aviation in the early nineties, flying Boeing 737s for British Midland Airways from Heathrow Airport around Europe. Since then he has amassed over 15,000 flying hours on both Boeing and Airbus aircraft all over the world. A long haul airline captain since 2005, he is current on both the Boeing 787 and Airbus 330.

In his consultancy role Mark has advised investment firms in the aviation space and lectures at various universities. He has two Masters degrees from City University London and is currently researching Chinese economic diplomacy at SOAS, University of London. A member of the Aviation Club of the U.K, the Royal Aeronautical Society and Chatham House, Mark is an alum of the Aviation Finance Summer School.
